Introducing BT-01LAN, a compact LAN experiment setup with four nodes showcasing various physical topologies like Token Ring, Token Bus, Ethernet (CSMA/CD), and Modbus. Explore protocols such as TCP, IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and Wireless LAN (802.11). Includes error generation features via Network Protocol Analyzer Software, demonstrating protocol nuances. For undergraduates, free JAVA programs enable hands-on socket programming experience with TCP/IP, UDP, etc., within the lab LAN. The tabletop setup, designed on a light and sturdy Aluminium profile (4X2) rack, comes complete with cables and connectors. An optional USB to RS232 converter enhances connectivity. Each unit is accompanied by a user guide for easy comprehension.
